The Galeon 680 made waves in September, clinching victory at the World Yachts Trophies for “BestExterior Design category 64-80 feet”. This is yet another award for the prestigious builder, who had previously won “Best Power Boat” in 2016 and also gained even more nominations in various other categories.

What makes the Galeon so alluring to industry professionals and consumers alike?

Galeon 680 – Breaking down the features

The 680 FLY joined the latest, fourth generation of Galeon models and introduces some exciting new features to the sector. With a lightweight construction taking advantage of carbon fibre technology, its powerful yet elegant frame will offer commendable performance and great handling.

Externally, the guests will be able to find respite in several leisure areas on the huge flybridge, bow and in the cockpit. Up front, the sundeck feature can be transformed into a seating area with the touch of a button, so it can be used even during light cruising. The vast flybridge is sure to impress and accommodate upto as many as a dozen guests, all protected by the lightweight carbon fibre hard top.

“Galeon has once again demonstrated their courageousness to push the boundaries of design and innovation with the introduction of the 680 FLY,” begins Bob Burke, Galeon Brand Manager. “We are honoured that the industry has rewarded their effort with this well-deserved acknowledgment.”

On board the 680 Flyguests will find incredible volume, a bright and welcoming interior and a highly customisable, luxurious finish. A large saloon with a designated entertainment area and two separate stairways lead down below to four guest cabins, all of which are designed to ensure the utmost comfort and privacy.

A selection of powerful engine choices and a comprehensive list of additional options will allow potentialowners to create their perfect yacht that will turn heads in amazement and become a benchmark for other manufacturers to follow.

The spectacular Galeon 460 Fly won POWER BOAT OF THE YEAR 2016

The first Galeon model to arrive in Thailand; “MIJA” set the standard for yachts of her kind. The unique feature of the boat, along with many others, is the immense space that is created thanks to the innovative “hydraulic drop down bulwarks” that literally open up the boat’s aft cockpit, providing a great entertainment space, and providing a beam synonymous with that of a 70 footer!

“MIJA” is currently based in Yacht Haven Marina and is celebrating her 3rd year as a successful charter yacht.
